This notice explains what zbior.com records when you visit, and why. The short version: no advertising, no third-party analytics, no sale of data.
Who runs this site
The site, its photographs and texts are published by Zbior.com. Questions about this notice: zbior.com@gmail.com.
What is recorded when you browse
The site keeps its own, privacy-preserving visit statistics. For each page view it stores the page address, the site you came from (domain only), the kind of device (desktop or phone), how long the page stayed open, an approximate location (country and city), and a one-way hash of your IP address and browser that changes every day. The IP address itself is not stored.
When the hosting platform does not already supply a location, the IP address is sent once to the geolocation service ip-api.com to look up the country and city. Only the result is kept, under a hashed key, for at most 30 days.
A random identifier (zb_uid) is kept in your browser's local storage so that return visits can be counted. It contains no personal data and disappears when you clear the site's data.
Cookies
zb_lang remembers whether you chose Polish or English. It is set only when you use the language switch.
zbior_session signs the curator into the admin panel. Visitors never receive it.
Neither cookie is used for tracking, so the site shows no cookie banner.
Fonts
The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.
Contact form
If you write through the contact page, the site stores your name, e-mail address, subject, message, the coin you asked about, and a hashed form of your IP address used only to limit spam. The message is used to reply to you and is kept until the curator deletes it. It is not shared with anyone.
Hosting
The site runs on Render (render.com). Catalogue photographs are served from a separate image host. Both may keep ordinary server logs for security.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what data the site holds about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its processing. Write to zbior.com@gmail.com. You may also complain to your data-protection authority; in Poland that is the Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (uodo.gov.pl).
